WMLF Is Starting To Burn Up The West as New Mexico Sun Devils Becomes Part of League
March 13, 2013. Hilton Head, SC – World Minor League Football has opened up another gateway to the west as Director of Expansion, Matt Hill, confirmed that the New Mexico Sun Devils have confirmed that they are going to be playing in WMLF this fall!
“I feel like a kid opening presents when I open my email and see that another team has decided to join the WMLF Family!” Matt Hill said with excitement.
“We’ve wanted to get more teams in the southwest and Midwest areas and it seems that things are finally coming along nicely,” Commissioner Dickerman said. “Yesterday we signed Richard Walker’s Texas Nightmare and today we have the Sun Devils of New Mexico! The WMLF Family is growing by leaps and bounds and this is exciting not only for the teams involved in WMLF or the league itself, but for the entire culture of semi-pro/minor league football!”
“We have to say that if it wasn’t for Gregg Hollinger of the El Paso Seminoles getting the ball rolling on this, we may not be making this announcement right now!” Deputy Commissioner Leroy Pinckney Jr. said. “It goes to show that our team owners want to help us be successful and want us to grow! That is what’s setting us apart from other leagues. We compete on the field, but help build each other up like family!”
This announcement completes a whirlwind of a day for WMLF. That doesn’t mean the day is over for the officers of WMLF as they literally work around the clock to help build member teams’ brands.
