The Texas Broncos Come Rushing Into World Minor League Football

April 8, 2013. Hilton Head, SC – On a day that many people are outside enjoying the beautiful weather that much of the country is experiencing, World Minor League Football officials are hard at work in welcoming a new member into the ever growing family!

“We’re happy to announce that the Texas Broncos are now part of the WMLF Family! They will be part of our inaugural Fall Season that begins on August 5th! I can’t express just how elated I am that this organization has joined our family,” WMLF Commissioner Dickerman said in a statement.

“The addition of the Broncos just shows that Texas is VERY SERIOUS about their football. WMLF in Texas is growing by leaps and bounds and this addition is going to make going through that area for the WMLF Championship extra tough! I, for one, can’t wait!” Deputy Commissioner Leroy Pinckney Jr. said.

“This is a direct result of some great teamwork with us and Southwest Director Richard Walker,” Director of Expansion Matt Walker started. “With him there to personally talk to the Broncos organization helped show that we’re not about the money, but about making sure they succeed on and off the field.”

When asked why he chose WMLF, Broncos owner Levi Horton said the following with excitement, “We decided to join WMLF because we’re a first year organization and we want to see what kind of noise we can make here. We feel that this is where the best of the best will compete and we can’t wait to see what the fall will bring!”

The application date to apply to play in WMLF’s inaugural fall season has been extended to May 1st.
